The main text for the course is Stewart's Calculus. Edition doesn't matter, nor does whether it says "Early Transcendentals" or not. What is important is that it has the first six chapters (so you don't want one labeled "Volume 2" or "Multivariate Calc"; if the chapters are numbered 1-6 (or more) in the table of contents you are fine).
