Proposed Introduction (by Daniel Kalla):
Waste is composed of material that cannot be used. It therefore functions as a measure of inefficiency, although it has its own environmental impact, as well. This section measures Marlboro's waste. It is primarily concerned with trash but also addresses different types of product reuse, including (but not limited to) recycling and compost.
Second proposed mission statement by Mia:
Marlboro College recognizes the importance of efficient and responsible use of resources. We are committed to reducing and eliminating waste by carefully considering our purchases, reusing, recycling, composting, and otherwise transforming the resources we use. In this section we examine the current amount of waste generated and resources reused at Marlboro.
I agree with Mia's wording but it says purchasing and we have a section for purchasing already. I personally don't think purchasing should be included in this section because purchasing is a major section.

Daniel Kalla: I would change the second sentence to read "We are committed to reducing and eliminating waste by carefully considering our purchases AND reusing, recycling, composting, and otherwise transforming the resources we use." Otherwise this section seems good
