homework

Homework handed in generally looks good. We're up and running!
Next assignment is posted, and the goal today is to get started on it today.

lab

An open ended investigation of generating square waves (function generator or arduino), observing them (oscilloscope, speaker, or arduino SERIAL), and seeing how R C (capacitors and resistor in series) "voltage dividers" react, when RC is (fast, slow, about the same as) the square wave frequency.
Do work in groups, do work on an intuition for this stuff, and do scribble outside the lines.
We can leave some of this stuf out somewhere for work over the weekend; let's talk about that in class.
Oh, and I have some 1/8" audio jacks that should let us connect up powered speakers. (We may have to remove the DC part of the 0 - 5V square wave. How is another question to explore in the lab.)
