How to prepare to ask me for a tutorial?
These are the questions you should ask yourself and be ready to answer them if you are planning to ask me for a tutorial:
- What topic are you planning to study? or what project are you planning to work on?
- How much time per week will this study/project require?
- How much face time do you need?
- How much credit do you think the work is worth? (Remember the rule of thumb is 1 credit for three hours of work per week)
- Does the work connect with you plan? If yes, how? If no, why are you interested in this tutorial?
- What kind of resources do you plan to use for your study/project? In the case of a more experimental/hands-on project, is it feasible? Does the college have the resources you need? If not, what is their approximate cost?
