Logan is confused

A lot about capacitors kinda flew over my head. The book goes "here are all of these things ideal capacitors do, but we never think about that."
C = Q/V Capacitors is parallel act like resistors in series. Capacitors is series act like resistors in parallel.
Voltage across any Capacitor in a series circuit can be calculated using (Ctotal/Cn)Vin.
You can make capacitive dividers: Vout=(c1/(c1+c2))Vin.
