intro class
We'll meet once weekly to work through and discuss
projects in the Sparkfun Inventor's Kit ,
which builds simple circuits with buttons and lights
and what-not, controlled by an Arduino.
The course will be cotaught by Jim Mahoney & Logan Davis ...
which we haven't done before, so the schedule is still
being worked out.
Along the way you'll learn
- some coding (in Arduino's "Processing" C-like language)
- some circuit physics (volts, amps, multimeters)
- some debugging (why doesn't it work?)
We will likely also do some exploration with our
3D printer
The point is give you the skills that will
let you create your own DIY (do-it-yourself) gizmos.
If you are going to be in the course, please email
Jim (mahoney@marlboro.edu) so he can put you in the web system.
The first assignment (essentially just getting ready
for Tuesday's first lab) is posted :
