I have emailed Allison abut have yet to hear from her. I told her to try calling Jim's extension during our regular meeting time today. Hopefully something will arrive soon so that I can start building. I do plan on being here during spring break and ideally I will have the parts to start assembling over the break.
The parts from Lynxmotion need to be ordered from a separate credit card, but I'm having trouble contacting staff members who can do that (Jim I think I'll leave this part up to you. I don't think I'm the most persuasive person when it comes to asking for money, and really I just don't know who can do what or who's willing to do what.)
Last week I wrote a paper on different sensor types but neglected to include a concluding statement about how these sensors might used towards an ecological subject matter, or how these things relate to my project. I will submit that concluding statement today.
- Here's some of my "Documentation" for the Fake Qwerk software****

I set my access level as owner
Access Level Information---
Access Levels are intended to provide the ability to manage what functions are allowed to be called on a robot, and vice versa. However, they are currently mostly unused. The only distinction that is currently made is between Owners and non-Owners. Owners are allowed to share a robot with others, unshare a robot from others, and change the robot's name.
I use this to login to the Fake Qwerk application, the quasi-simulator for the real Telepresence software. Successfully displayed and ran commands, although no real actions could be seen visually.
My FakeQwerk ID also let me login to the Flower Power software, Qwerk Audio Player, and RUR, although the practicality of this effort was low.
Oooh, there is a new software program now available on the terk site called "My First Robot" which lets new beginners write short and easy programs for the Qwerk processor. I'm going to play with that a little today to see what's it's like and see if I can't get a feel for the real thing by using it.
