Finished the tutorial up until the extensions bit, where I started to get some weird complaints about file names until I just undid what I'd changed. I also have yet to see the 'Prototype' name thingy work. Seems like it'd be useful, but it hasn't worked yet. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Everything else has worked fine.

I've also collected images to use for the game I'm going to design, though they'll likely require a bit of tweaking to make them work. The map needs to smaller, at the very least. Soon I'll probably start playing around with the hex-grid and seeing if I can get that to line up properly with this map, or if I need to do some more dense image editing.

Seems like there are some mismatches between the tutorial and the vassal version we're using, which may be the problem.
