Remade in America, but... CLASS CANCELLED DUE TO SNOW

Preparation: Watch at least one episode of the US version of at least one of Being Human, The Office and House of Cards prior to class. The US version of Being Human is available on reserve in the library. The US versions of the other two are both on Netflix, if you have that.

February 14th

Remade in America: House of Cards Edition

Preparation: Watch Episodes 1 and 2 of the UK version of House of Cards. It's available in the library or on Netflix.

Preparation: Read the abstract, introduction, and Sections 1 and 3 of Lifestyling Britain: The 8–9 slot on British television by Brunsdon. (You're welcome to read Section 2 as well, but not required.)
