So I finished the cookie demo that I was showing you, and polished it up a bit.

I suggest that you might want to

• look it over to see to understand what's going on
• look at the http headers to see how they are sending the information back and forth, using FireFox's Tools, Web Developer, Network, "raw headers"
• check out FireFox's "Tools" , "Page Info" which lists the cookies for a given page
• draw yourself a little diagram showing what information is stored in which place (client or server or whatever) and when it gets passed back and forth.

Then perhaps see what it would be like to do something similar with other technologies like react or php or flask or whatever.

Do you think that all this can be done only with javascript?

And then check out wikipedia's cookie article and see if it makes more sense now that you see what cookies are in detail.
