I hope you all had a good break.

We're about here :

in the 2016 notes, i.e. "practice" and "son of practice".

But we missed some of the conditional stuff because of the snow storm before break.

We should go over (as you like)

• conditionals
• midterm project status
• the process of programming: top-down, bottom-up, data, testing, debugging

We're heading towards "simulation and design" in the text, chapter 9.

Over the next class or two we'll write a simulation of the game of craps : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Craps , which should at least let us find the odds of winning.

We looked at two programs: truthtable.py (my solution to one of the previous homework assignments) and palindrome.py (a new thing that we started and will finish Wednesday).
