• This is all network stuff ... which we didn't study in any detail.
• But is pretty cool. ;)
• google "wireshark tcp/ip book" to dive into this stuff ... for example Practical Packet Analysis
• acronyms: ARP, NAT, TTL, TCP/IP, ...
• I can remember when driftnet was a thing at conferences and big lecture halls ... though these days if the images are served up over https then it won't work.
  • I see there is some more recent discussions of this using a MITM approach.
