Drafted this today while seeking to create some language for prospective students. Could we use a mission statement? 1/4/07 Cheryl
"The Marlboro Community Farm seeks to provide students with opportunities for learning, recreation and civic involvement through agriculture. Through the cultivation of crops, the farm will provide an increasing amount of sustainable produce to the dining hall. Farming efforts on campus were revitalized in 2005 with a Town Meeting grant, used primarily in the construction of a bow-roof greenhouse. The farm is governed by a committee of interested and active members, led by the Farm Manager and Apprentice Farm Manager."
