Week 1
History and Evolution
I am simply inexperienced with most of what computer science is. My background does not go far. I got my first computer in 2002, a cheap little desktop that I had little time to explore. I am, sadly, a gamer so I do know a little something something about how a computer works but, I have no real programming skills. I barely have a programming vocabulary. What little I do know about programming has come from other people showing me what's up. Actually, I am not really sure whether or not I am underestimating myself because I have written at least some things (like web pages).

I think everything is going fine. The book is straightforward and pretty informal which makes it a good read. I did go with amazon for the book. Go free shipping, Go!
