For this week

Make a file like the example Jim gave (jimintegrationdemo) but that illustrates numerical differentiation.
Look through ipython examples for a good chemistry problem to try to solve as a homework for the week later.

Looked at this page, felt a bit overwhelmed and underprepared, decided to come back in a bit.

Took a whack after some minor setup work on the 29th, turned out to be not-too-daunting. Uploading the file today, gonna do some more looking at ipynb examples for future learning ideas.
