Textbook: Artificial Intelligence: A Modern Approach, 3rd ed, Russell & Norvig
We are likely to use other online resources as well - details coming soon.
An examination of the methods used in problems encountered in trying to teach computers to "think."
Topics covered may include knowledge representation, machine learning, monte carlo methods, neural nets, robotics, natural language processing, among others.
This is an intermediate course in computer science and as such assumes significant programming experience and mathematical maturity. If you're not sure if you have the background, come talk to me and we'll discuss your situation.
