Intro to QGIS - download shapefiles Projections in Q [with and without imagery] QGIS 2 - download and connect data layers (us census blocks and election material) QGIS 3 - workday on gathering and connecting data. QGIS 4 - Creation of Thematic maps and discuss in class (2 types from one data set - each person go - elections?)
GPS to GIS (Practical use - trail completion? Depends on student numbers…go from gps to seeing them in Q or open street.)
Remote Sensing
Collaboration with Kate’s Elections class.
