1) Turn on the scope and wait for it to obtain a GPS fix.
2) Use the up and down arrows at the bottom of the keypad to scroll through the options until you see one the says "Objects" and press enter.
3) Use the up and down arrows at the bottom of the keypad to select the type of object you wish to observe.
4) Some object categories will allow you to choose how you can search for the object. For example, in the "Deep Sky" category you can choose to select the item from a list of named items, or input the objects Messier or NGC number.
5) One you have selected the item you wish to observe press the "Go To" button and the telescope will begin slewing. Do not touch the telescope until you hear a beep to indicate that the telescope has finished slewing.
6) It may be necessary to make minor adjustments with the directional controls to center the object in the eye piece. For this reason it is possible to adjust the telescopes slew speed by pressing the key labeled "Speed" and using the up and down arrows to select the desired rate.
7) To access the previous menu use the "Mode" Key.
8) When finished observing use the "Mode" key to return to the home menu and select "Utilities --> Park Scope". This returns to telescope to it's home position so that it can be turned of safely, without losing it's alignment.
