Final Project

Write a paper about Stats. Present in class in the last week of the semester. Exactly what you choose to do is up to you. There are two "standard" projects, but you are encouraged to stretch, or completely break, these parameters if you like. The first is to take a newspaper article that uses statistics and investigate the sources of those statistics and consider whether the journalist has accurately conveyed the sense of the research. The second is to take a paper in your academic field and consider the statistical aspects of it. Please come and talk with me about your ideas.
