So I decided to skip chapters 21 to 23 (in the pdf - the printed book differs by plus/minus 1 in chapter numbers) as this is a bunch of texty stuff which isn't super interesting to me.

I'm going to look at compiling (Ch. 24 in pdf), which is something I have wanted to do at various points but didn't know how.

Oo, oo! I compiled my first program - diction; not that this means I can compile another one, but I learned some interesting stuff here.
