We're finishing up chapter 2 in the text, on probability.
Coming up :
- No class on Tuesday March 1 - VT town meeting day
- 1st quiz on Thursday - one page of your own notes, closed book, in class
- data, types of data, surveys & experiments, graphs of data
- mean, median, standard deviation (of sample and population)
- probability : distribution, P(A & B), P(A or B), expected value
- 2nd homework coming up the week after - design a game (perhaps in teams) and analyze.
