resources

Here are some resources for the class. If you find something that's useful to you, please let me know and I'll add it here.

texts

The main text for the course is Strang's Calculus. We'll also use some of A First Course in Complex Analysis by Beck, Marchesi, Pixton and Sabalka.
A secondary text is Stewart's Calculus, which comes in various editions. It's also sometimes split into volumes; Volume 2 is the one that corresponds with the material we'll be covering. A copy will be on reserve on the library and also the super-secret Science reserve shelf.
You also won't go far wrong if you pick up and standard-looking Big Book of Calculus. Check out the relevant library shelf or come and see me in my office if you want to borrow one. This can be occasionally useful for additional examples or a slightly different take on the material.
