part 1- website portfolio (40%)

artistic website, 1 page long, taking MIT risk lab art architectural art and rendering it on the web. displaying the information such that it tells a story or narrative that ends in a company or personal portfolio. react front-end, rails back-end.

part 2- testing the portfolio (20%)

This will involve running and amassing a battery of rspec tests to document how well my portfolio actually runs, and also to demonstrate that I am able to do test-driven development. Will also include some of the first tests I've run as a comparison and to illustrate how much I'd learned, and a brief writeup about the nuances of testing as I've come to understand it.

part 3- writeup of website and creative process (technical write-up, with non-technical reflections)(20%)

This will be an exploration of the technical challenges I faced as well as some of the creative challenges and how I learned what I needed to learn about UX in order to achieve the look and feel of the website. Also a reflection of the testing process. this will also incorporate, more specifically, the different elements that went into designing and producing the website and turning the vision into a product. incorporates explanation of wire-framing process, business-end process and ux decisions as well as the planning process for this website. This will also incorporate some of the things I learned being a private contractor for dan in our wordpress tutorial, and how I navigated the business relationship and how to apply it to the independant website building business I'm trying to start.

part 4- ruby on rails exam (10%)

a technical examination regarding my abilities in ruby on rails and object manipulation

part 5- rspec exam (10%)

A technical examination regarding my ability to write test suites.
