So I am starting to put information about each product in and learned how to give variable attributes to things in wordpress, etc. I then realized I needed to include a link to a specific image in every description (see below) so I started trying to figure out how I could include a link in the product descriptions on one page, to reliably lead back to another page. I knew I could give it like a relative file path but I think that's bad for seo. Read this article about filepaths and how they can effect SEO and also watched this video about it. Also read aboutWhy relative URL's should be forbidden to web-developers
I eventually settled on the easy way out on the auto-scrolling(which is not to do it) and simply putting the image at the top of the page and hope they will see it. And I don't think I can link to this in another place in such a way that the link will reliably be preserved so .. yeah. I did learn a thing or two about using incomplete URL's though!
