This is a sign that I put up by the X-Carve, based on the well-known blinkenlights neologism. The fancy font and svg file I adapted from PeterFW's thingverse site.
Making signs like this is a pretty typical task for the X-Carve. The letters can be colored in several ways: painting them, spray-painting the whole thing and then sanding the paint off the surface, staining the wood surface first and then carving the sign, making a sandwich of several colors of wood, etc. You can also get HDPE plastic with different colors layers for just this purpose.
