Getting started

I think I'd like to start with the material that I think is the most common and familiar to all of you, namely the core tech of front end development: HTML5, CSS, JS & the DOM.

I set the first assignment due Thursday to "create a web page" ... and hopefully that will add some specific examples to this discussion.

As a seminar, I'd like to have all of you prepare some "show and tell" for the class on these topics.
