You've found the homepage for the Fall 2014 Digital Audio course at Marlboro College.
This course will look at some acoustics and math behind computer
sound processing, particularly the Fourier Transform, and explore some audio
software tools, particularly Pd (PureData). We may do some coding in C.
Some music, math, and/or coding background is a prerequisite,
since we may be using elements of calculus, linear algebra,
complex numbers, computer programming, and physics. Some
of these topics you may be able to learn from scratch here,
depending on your background.
There's a good chance this will turn into a group tutorial
rather than a course, depending on who participates.
Check the links at the right for the details.
If you're interested, do come to the intro class,
2:30pm, Wed Sep 3, Sci 217
where we will discuss what specifically the topics
and level will be.
