light labs - week 2
Do as many of the the four light labs as time (and your interest) allow.
Choose one to write up - due next week. (That assignment is
on the assignments page ... we'll discuss a bit in class.)
The light labs are :
- 1A : blink an LED
- 1B : Potentionmeter (turn a dial to change blink rate)
- 1C : Photoresistor (LED turns on when room is dark)
- 1D : Night Light (RGB LED turns on when room is dark; color set with dial)
Other topics to discuss in class :
- some circuit basics - voltage, current, resistance
- the components for these labs
- how to measure voltage & current with a multimeter
